The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 134,000.00 USD - 177,000.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. The S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) Governance Manager role, also known as S&OP Navigator!... is a critical component in driving and sustaining Global improvement in the S&OP process within the Lifestyle Brands Business Unit.

S&OP Governance Manager gets the opportunity to work cross functionally with every department E2E and influence the team to drive process improvements that reflect best in class! This role will also be a part of a Global team, and will partner closely with global counterparts, as well as regional and cluster leadership teams to gain exposure with cascading the S&OP discussion on a global scale.


Please note: This is a San Francisco office-based role!

In this role, you will build phenomenal relationships with an awesome team at every level of the organization; who base everything they do on their core values; and drive cross functional collaborations that drive improvements to process maturity metrics, along with connecting trends of key KPI's connected with S&OP maturity. You will work with the team to continually improve a Globally harmonized and sustainable S&OP process, metrics, and governance, while being on the ground locally with the San Francisco team in their awesome loft style office that has great snacks, a sparkling water and a Froyo machine.

Fun is most certainly a part of this job specifically, and you will experience a team, which works hard, is creative, and celebrates along the way. You will feel inspired and want to think out of the box in this role and always be ahead of industry best practices so you can share! You will also want to think about how you can leverage your relationships globally, to help our team locally along the journey.

In this role, you get to be the S&OP SME, with a on the ground type approach, and a "connector" of having the "end in mind" for teams. A "Can do" mindset will allow you to be successful in this role, and an approach of "How can I help to make the DITL of teams better; eliminate waste, so we can drive more strategic S&OP discussions and drive the right content, discussions, output, and results.

Sometimes this could include a file revamp or 2 or helping the team to drive reporting capabilities. Sometimes, this could entail re routing a discussion back to the underlining mission, and holding workshops or process reviews with teams, providing playbooks and recommendations.

Navigators/Governance Leads in this role will be expected to expand their S&OP knowledge to be:

  • Subject matter experts across all or most steps

  • SME of the S&OP feeder processes and their flow into the steps

  • Regarded as global S&OP experts that can operate at high level of performance across different functions and geographies.

  • Leads the S&OP Navigator team in the development of global S&OP strategy and practical process/tool design including wiring to global mega processes.

  • Regarded as a local trusted advisor and strategic team member that can help teams drive the planning and execution of business changes in processes, mindsets & behaviors.

  • A true and trusted teammate of the LSB!!

The S&OP Governance Manager will drive continuous S&OP improvement by:

  • Collaborating with global counterparts and provide functional input into global S&OP process design, standard metric definition, and enabling toolset design.

  • Maintain and publish global S&OP process documentation that is in line with industry best practices.

  • Assessing and scoring S&OP performance, and publishing metrics on the health of the S&OP process for LSB and PRO business units.

  • Own the S&OP reporting for relevant KPI and build out scorecard and deck reporting to executive leadership and cross functional teams.

  • Identify S&OP Champions at the LSB, to train, coach, partner up with and develop others to be S&OP Governance Managers.

  • Facilitating root cause analysis of process breakdowns and continuous improvement in the S&OP process with cross-functional team

  • Provide highly valued strategic consulting support and guidance through key initiatives.

  • Develop strategic win-win partnerships with other functional support areas.

  • Influence stakeholders to improve S&OP integration with other Mega Processes

  • Integrate & connect work streams between commercial and Supply Chain to eliminate silos.

  • Consistent Stakeholder engagement and management

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Experience:

  • Bachelors' degree in a relevant discipline

  • 5+ years' experience within an S&OP/IBP CPG meeting environment, either as a contributor or leader within Supply Chain, Finance or Commercial.

  • 5+ years of Excel/MS Office experience

  • 3+ years analytical experience

Preferred Skills/Experience/Competencies:

  • Baseline knowledge of Kinaxis (or similar to) advanced planning systems, + Tableau, Power BI, Project Management

  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset and are enthusiastic about making an impact

  • Strong leadership skills: agencies, cross-functional, senior management

    • Candidates must be able to proactively communicate effectively at all levels of the organization including the Regional Senior VP level.

  • Change Management

  • Strong collaborator: ability to navigate different stakeholder personalities, perspectives, priorities.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort in working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
