Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate exudes & demonstrates passion about security and safety. This candidate should be within commuting distance of our work location in Palo Alto, California. Ideal skills include customer service, strong communication, writing, critical thinking, and analytical ability, and an understanding of basic risk management principles. The candidate should be able to thrive in an environment with shifting priorities, projects, and expectations in an evolving security program. The candidate must understand and adhere to discretion and confidentiality, applying it to their everyday job tasks while assessing & communicating sensitive topics & risks in a reasonable manner. The candidate must operate with integrity in every facet of their job role. Ideal past job experiences that would prepare you for this role would be alarm/camera operators, residential security, Emergency response or a combination of these.

Who You Will Work With

In your role as a residential security agent, you will work directly with a team of fellow agents who operate 24/7 to safeguard our clients property. You will collaborate & conduct information sharing with cross-functional tactical & strategic intelligence analysts, risk managers, and operational dispatchers to help achieve their objectives for the larger corporate security program.

What You Will Work On

  • Be responsible for safeguarding the client, family, and personal property located at the residence.
  • Incorporate the client's core values and code of conduct in all decisions and actions.
  • Be responsible for making real-time operational decisions that enhance safety for the client and immediate family members.
  • Maintain and manage all security logs, radio logs, visitor information, residence audits, vehicle inspections, and security phone communication.
  • Monitor the residential intrusion detection system, panic alarms, and CCTV camera system.
  • Access control for visitors, employees, and vendors.
  • Demonstrate effective communication with the client, the family, and other team members.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Promote and establish effective working relationships with the client and the DetailLeaderto quickly resolve operational issues without affecting the client's quality of life.
  • Detect and report suspicious activity and security vulnerabilities.
  • Be able to operate in a dynamic, multifaceted, and fast-paced environment.
  • A valid CA Exposed Firearm Permit and Guard Card are required.

What You Will Bring

  • Participation in random drug screenings.
  • Ability to work irregular or extended hours (shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays).
  • Team members must always maintain physical readiness to respond to an attack or hazard.
  • Pass pre-employment background investigation.
  • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Possess a valid and current California driver license Possess a valid U.S Passport
  • Required - California Guard Card (BSIS)
  • Professional and friendly communicator with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence (prior experience in customer service or hospitality industries preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong ability to think critically and strategically
  • 3+ years of security experience
