**The person in this role will need to be located near our Redwood City facility. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate outside of the area.**

We are seeking an HR Manager for our flagship Thermal Management manufacturing site in Redwood City, California. Here, you will be a key member of the leadership team, and responsible for all aspects of human resources within the site.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Build and implement HR initiatives that align with business strategies including employee relations, performance management, compensation practices, HR policies and practices, training, and full employee life cycle processes.

  • Support compliance with California labor laws, including wage and hour laws, and workplace standards.

  • Create and implement engagement initiatives to enhance employee morale, and satisfaction.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, addressing conflicts promptly and effectively.

  • Partner with functional leads on the establishment and facilitation of employee training needs including employee orientation, leadership development, and cross-training.

  • Build relationships with colleagues, and provide counsel while supporting employees.

  • Lead workforce planning strategies for the site production staffing process by partnering with business groups to hire qualified and versatile employees for our organization.

  • Partner with Payroll, HRIS, and Compensation and Benefits functions to provide solutions for clients.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or related field.

  • 7+ years previous HR leadership experience with manufacturing preferred.

  • 3+ years of leadership experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of pay and employment laws, practices, and legal requirements within the state of California.

  • Experience working with an hourly population required.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$107,100.00 - $198,900.00
