This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Role and responsibilitiesAs a member of the Source-Mask Optimization R&D team, the job entails large-scale C++ software development that optimizes the photomask patterns, their sub-resolution assist features across a fleet of ASML family of XT, NXT, NXE, and EXE scanners. The job requires an understanding of the signal processing, Fourier optics, optical physics, modern optimization and machine learning algorithms, and C++ software design.
Education and experiencePh.D. or M.S. in physics, physical chemistry, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, computer science, or related areas.
